The Rosendale is?a huge pub in West Dulwich. Its front garden did not echo?quality of the food an service that awaited inside, so we were commissioned to put that right.
We built a perimeter curved ‘wall’ of cedar planters to soften the building and to enclose the garden. Two huge feasting tables and log benches give one side of the garden a very vibrant, communal feel. This is offset by two banquette booths at the front of the pub, one high and one low, to give groups a bit of privacy and an air of exclusivity.
Loose custom-made steel and hardwood furniture spill across the terrace, which has been dressed in resin bound gravel.
The new garden sits exceedingly well in the landscape and has resulted in a large increase in revenue to what was already a very?successful establishment.
